Weekly Progress + Plan

 This blgopost contains my weekly progress throughout this Music Video project!

Week 1

During the first week of this term, our teacher introduced us to our new upcoming project and what we had to do which was the Music Video project. We started with out Preliminary Research where we got to analyze many different types and genres of Music Videos for us to have a vision of what genre we would like to do on this project. For our theory lesson this week, we got to start learning more about Media ecology by starting of with the key ideas of Media Ecology.

Week 2

On week 2, we started to get put into groups to which we had issues with the participants being incompatible to work together due to different tastes in music and wanting to do different genres, causing conflict on thinking who should be with who. To solve this problem we had some members from 3 groups switch around places to fit into each genre we wanted and would work best in. For our theory lesson we got introduced to different types of technical convergence. we were also introduced to a new theorists which was McLuhan's theory of the Global Village as well as technical ages in the media and how they change over time.
