Behind The Scenes

Here is our Behind the Scenes for our Music Video

These BTS shots are not our final products yet. However, since Kristine and I wanted to somehow ensure we handled this task responsibly, and as we are fortunately very close neighbours, we decided to take these trial shots ourselves to prepare initial materials ready for the deadline. As soon as we develop the final pictures from our real set, we will update this blogpost as soon as possible.

Reflection:

During this part of the project, we did not have final (the real) BTS shots yet because our group could not manage to film due to personal communication problems as well as timing and personal schedules as some were busier than others who were more available. We tried our best the past few days to get some scenes done at least to get some BTS shots for this blogpost, though with lack of preparation and communication, it lead to us not getting any filming done at all during the holidays. Fortunately me and Kristine live in the same neighbourhood, it made it easier for us to conduct something for us to submit. We are aware that this is very irresponsible and unprofessional of us and this still isn't an excuse to not finish what we were supposed to do. Therefore next time we will take this even more seriously and manage our schedules and improve our communication skills.

Ask for permission to film if it's crowded and make sure clips are good because it's too far and we can't risk going back to retake.

Reflection:

We were not able to finish the filming schedule with set dates due to vague discussions and a lack of preparation, as well as weaknesses in communication, consideration, and effort. We could not set filming dates because there was not enough discussion, and since each of us had our own schedules, plans and commitments already being set during the holidays. Therefore the lack of planning made things more confusing. Without proper discussion, we were unsure what to plan, do or write, which resulted in the filming not being completed (conducted), meaning the filming schedule being left undone and not updated. Basically, because the issue was left unaddressed and not discussed further, the task was gradually procrastinated and eventually not completed at all, as we brushed it off and did not take it as seriously as we should have. Additionally, we had also lacked communication and discussion with our actors as well, as their personal schedules also needed to be considered. We also couldn't organise enough people on time to help on set, such as support for lighting, wardrobe, and general assistance. Overall, this reflects the unprofessional and irresponsible part/side of our actions and shows how we could have managed our time more wisely during the holidays to at least film some scenes or clips to work towards our ideal goal. In the future, we will prioritise this more and take the project more seriously to ensure it is done properly.
